A little about me for those who don’t know me:
You are here because in some way you respect, are inspired by, understand or want to understand fashion and hence, I respect you! Fashion for me is an expression of your individuality and the use of colour, fabrics, textures, shapes & structure to display this expression. I draw upon various the facets of design, people, the environment, culture, movies, music, art and even politics to inspire and direct me.
I was born in Dubai and brought up in Sydney and am now based in Bangalore. I have travelled a lot of the world and the ensuing worldliness has definitely influenced my personality and consequently, style.
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, and as endearing as that career was in its own way, it didn’t allow me to express myself as I knew best. When I started counting down seconds to 5pm at PricewaterhouseCoopers; where I worked for 2 years, I knew I had to make the change. I started modelling part-time (which I still do as it gives me great insight into the fashion industry here and is a lot of fun) and more recently, started this blog.
In all humility, I feel that I have an individual sense of style and fashion and can talk and muse over fashion and trends all day. I needed to start this simple blog to share and organise my thoughts about fashion.
I work on the blog, at times, till 4am but the adrenaline and sheer passion of the subject, as well as sharing it with the world is so exciting. I am a complete advocate of building a career around what your heart is set upon, because life should be no other way but your way!
When intelligence, worldliness and elegance combine, magic is created. I am truly a globalfashionfiend.
