Being back in Sydney for a short trip gave me the opportunity to capture some moments from Sydney Festival at Hyde Park. A bit dressed-up because I was heading out with friends after! For someone who takes their fashion quite … Continue reading
Recently, I participated in the Femina Style Dive Bangalore contest. It gave us the opportunity to showcase our styling skills on a daily basis! I wish I had taken more pics from other days but the schedule was pretty hectic! I’m really … Continue reading
Whether male or female, I’m positive the title of this post was enough to draw your attention. Men drool over them and women admire (and slightly envy) them. Yes, this post is dedicated to the Victoria’s Secret angels. Models, entrepreneurs, actors, wives, mothers- these women like most, are multi-faceted, however the question here is- how do they do it all while maintaining their flawless figures and immaculate presentation? Well the way I look at it is that junk food and hours spent working out is the sacrifice these girls have to make for their careers (a small one relative to their hefty pay cheques I say). Having said that I do admire their dedication, personalities and intelligent. These angels meet a stringent criterion that extends beyond the face and body which is evident if you have ever seen these girls in front of the camera.
The coveted Victoria’s Secret show for this year is around the corner, airing around the world on December 10th so it seems only fitting to share some of my favourite VS model styles and moments. It seems that a VS stalking session has become a regular event in my calendar so keep your eye out for an exclusive on my favourite (now ex) angel- Miranda Kerr!

Hot off the runways, an ensemble of Spring-Summer 2014 designs. Marchesa, Ellie Saab, Valentino- they all brought the most flattering cuts and silhouettes to the catwalk this season with the most alluring fabrics.
As time moves, it seems that style and trends are becoming truly individual, which is why we see a greater variety of colours, textures and styles in each collection. Gone are the days when Chanel brought out a strictly black and white structures suit line. Consumers refuse to be dictated by trends and as our intelligence and worldliness increases so does our power to demand individuality.
Pastels, jewels, black and white, sheers, lace, satin, silk, embroidery, cut-work and embellishment; there is nothing we did not see on the runway this season. Be inspired by the colours and textures and implement them everyday!
I could spend the whole day scrolling through images! Gets my mind racing with ideas!
This is what I meant by fashionable fitness- to be comfortable in any garment! Miranda Kerr is my absolute idol! Not ONLY because of that goddess- like body, glowing skin and luscious hair but more so because of what goes … Continue reading
My Zara tribal-inspired neon statement neck piece, used at a shoot. It enhances almost any outfit and can be work in a casual or formal setting. Came in handy during one of my shoots!
Following from my previous post, I am going to shamelessly share a pic of myself that I’m extremely proud of. Yes, I do eat a breakfast similar to that in the previous post everyday and indulge in 300-400 calories worth of chocolate daily. I only workout for about 30 mins on most days and don’t if I cant be bothered. It may have taken longer than most to reach my current body but it hasn’t taken much sacrifice!
Fitness is the stepping stone to fashion. The moment you are comfortable with your whole body, you will be more open and creative with your fashion and will understand why certain designers create certain silhouettes. Oh and lets not completely forget the health benefits of eating a balanced diet and exercise. Note, I said balanced and not clean or healthy because if a snickers bar a day makes you happy with 2 less days of life; I would chose daily happiness!
