Being back in Sydney for a short trip gave me the opportunity to capture some moments from Sydney Festival at Hyde Park. A bit dressed-up because I was heading out with friends after! For someone who takes their fashion quite … Continue reading
Step away from the LBD. Its time to make a statement with colour and individuality. Ideally the pictures would be in a gondola on the canals of Venice, with the sun setting in the backdrop (just saying). 🙂

Whether male or female, I’m positive the title of this post was enough to draw your attention. Men drool over them and women admire (and slightly envy) them. Yes, this post is dedicated to the Victoria’s Secret angels. Models, entrepreneurs, actors, wives, mothers- these women like most, are multi-faceted, however the question here is- how do they do it all while maintaining their flawless figures and immaculate presentation? Well the way I look at it is that junk food and hours spent working out is the sacrifice these girls have to make for their careers (a small one relative to their hefty pay cheques I say). Having said that I do admire their dedication, personalities and intelligent. These angels meet a stringent criterion that extends beyond the face and body which is evident if you have ever seen these girls in front of the camera.
The coveted Victoria’s Secret show for this year is around the corner, airing around the world on December 10th so it seems only fitting to share some of my favourite VS model styles and moments. It seems that a VS stalking session has become a regular event in my calendar so keep your eye out for an exclusive on my favourite (now ex) angel- Miranda Kerr!

Dozens of fashion weeks have passed and numerous new trends and creative marvels have been discovered. Scouring through countless pictures and hours of footage made me realise that my favourite trends are those hidden behind the eloquently-conducted shows, amidst the backstage pandemonium. The choice of hair, make up and other nuances made by the designers to complement their creations, dictates the way we wear our hair or lips for the season. I sifted through hundreds of shows and numerous fashion weeks and drew out the trends that deserve emulation. Scroll down for a visual representation of the ones that stood out for me:
The Fresh Face: This trend will always be in vogue. Its clean, young and timeless. Keep the colours natural and well-blended.
The Statement Lip: Choose from anywhere on the colour wheel but keep it neat. Naked eyes to accompany the popping lip was the prominent trend.
Winged-Eye: I don’t remember when this trend was not in vogue. Using colours other than black seems the way to do it this season.
The B&W Nail: A bit of black and a bit of white and we’re good to go, regardless of the choice of outfit.
